December 6, 2025: Liberty, TX 77575 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX) and the host Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX), observed Lee's basketball team overwhelm Liberty by a score of 64-24.
The Ganders (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pasadena (Pasadena, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Pasadena was crushed by Montgomery (Montgomery, TX), 68-47, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deweyville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Liberty will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 64-56 non-league loss to Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.
