In Saturday's non-league battle, the Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) basketball squad topped the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), by a count of 75-61.

With the victory, Liberty Christian advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Western Albemarle won 65-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA)

In their next game, the Gryphons encounter the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs (Danville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. New Covenant will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
