California High School Basketball - Livermore succumbs to Whitney
December 6, 2025: Livermore, CA 94550 The Whitney Wildcats defeated the host Livermore Cowboys basketball squad by a final score of 60-50 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Whitney will play a Rough Riders team coming off a 73-44 non-league loss to Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Livermore falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Benicia (Benicia, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Benicia won 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA)
