Merced Bears (Merced, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA), 62-52 in a non-league contest.

The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Immanuel was topped by Lemoore (Lemoore, CA), 66-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 11. Pleasant Valley will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
