December 6, 2025: Frisco, TX 75034 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), observed Wakeland's basketball team knock off Mt. Pleasant by a score of 70-60.
The Wolverines (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Van Alstyne was knocked off by Farmersville (Farmersville, TX), 71-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 battle, on Tuesday, December 9. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 61-38 non-league loss to Richland (Prosper, TX).
