With the victory, Plains advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Denver City (Denver City, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 3-2. Denver City lost 55-40 in their recent non-league contest against Andrews (Andrews, TX)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. River Road will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Swifts come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 57-28 non-league win over Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX).
