The Quartz Hill Royals basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting South El Monte Eagles to 46 in the Royals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Royals now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Etiwanda for a non-league outing on Monday, December 8. Quartz Hill will face a Eagles squad coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Great Oak (Temecula, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
