The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Vacaville Bulldogs to 49 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Spanish Springs will play a Miners team coming off a 69-64 non-league win over Jesuit (Carmichael, CA). The Miners record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Vacaville moves to 0-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to clash with the Miners in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 16. The Miners come into the test with a record of 3-1.
