In Saturday's non-league test, the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) basketball squad got by the host Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), by a final score of 50-44.

The Knights now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9. Steele will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 53-33 non-league loss to Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 2-12.

The Thunderbirds (3-6) will now prepare for their test against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns come into the 5A Region IV District 26 test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, New Braunfels held off Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), 66-49, in a non-league test.
