Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Troy succumbs to Sullivan County
December 6, 2025: Laporte, PA 18626 The Sullivan County Griffins defeated the visiting Troy Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 64-47 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Griffins clash with the Millville Quakers (Millville, PA) in a Midd-Penn test, on Tuesday, December 9. Sullivan County will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Quakers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 58-45 non-league loss to Columbia County Christian (Bloomsburg, PA).
With the loss, Troy falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA) to play the Indians in a Northern Tier bout on Wednesday, December 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Cowanesque Valley lost 58-48 in their recent non-league bout against Northern Potter (Ulysses, PA)
