In Saturday's non-league match, the host Highland Springs Springers football squad scored a good 35-8 triumph over the Indian River Braves.

The Springers (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Commodores go into the non-league battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Maury prevailed over Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA), 48-27, in a non-league battle.
