California High School Basketball - Deer Valley bested by Alhambra
December 6, 2025: Martinez, CA 94553 Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) supporters went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), 52-38 in a non-league contest.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, San Lorenzo was topped by Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), 75-57, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Wolverines face the Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. Deer Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 45-19 non-league win over Novato (Novato, CA).
