California High School Basketball - Arleta can't get by Polytechnic

The Arleta Mustangs basketball squad (Arleta, CA), was nudged 42-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA)

With the victory, Polytechnic advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) to meet the Dolphins in a Prep battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Dolphins enter the battle with a record of 1-1. Chadwick won 36-15 in their recent league contest against Mayfield (Pasadena, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley match, on Wednesday, December 10. Arleta will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 50-14 non-league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA).
