Texas High School Basketball - Bishop knocks off Crystal City

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bishop Badgers basketball squad scored a nice 50-33 victory over the Crystal City Javelinas.

With the victory, Bishop advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Badgers travel to Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 30 match on Tuesday, December 9. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-9. Orange Grove lost 65-63 in their recent non-league contest against Vidor (Vidor, TX)

In their next game, the Javelinas battle the Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 10. Crystal City will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 49-45 non-league win over Southwest (San Antonio, TX).
