Texas High School Basketball - Olton knocks off Borden County
December 6, 2025: Gail, TX 79738 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) and the host Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX), observed Olton's basketball team overcome Borden County by a score of 57-48.
The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spur (Spur, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Spur topped Tahoka (Tahoka, TX), 42-14, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Coyotes battle the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Borden County will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Leopards go into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 50-16 non-league loss to Frenship Memorial (Lubbock, TX).
