The Chico Dragons (Chico, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Olney Cubs (Olney, TX), 45-25 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gainesville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Chico will play a Leopards team coming off a 56-12 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Olney moves to 3-5 on the season. The Cubs travel to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX) to encounter the Trojans in a 2A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, December 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
