The New Braunfels Unicorns defeated the visiting Churchill Chargers basketball squad by a final score of 49-39 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Unicorns now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wagner for a 5A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, December 9. New Braunfels will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 75-58 non-league win over United (Laredo, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 14-0.

The Chargers (3-13) will now prepare for their bout against MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas go into the non-league bout with a 13-5 record. In their last bout, MacArthur gained a win over Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX), 70-63, in a non-league bout.
