Texas High School Basketball - Cross Plains holds off Oglesby
December 6, 2025: Cross Plains, TX 76443 The Cross Plains Buffaloes basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Oglesby Tigers to 41 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Buffaloes now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Cross Plains will confront a Eagles team coming off a 44-26 non-league loss to Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Oglesby falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Abbott (Abbott, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 1A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, December 9. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 4-0. Abbott won 45-38 in their recent non-league game against Baird (Baird, TX)
