December 6, 2025: Baytown, TX 77520 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX) and the host Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX), observed Cypress Park's basketball team overcome Lee by a margin of 48-28.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans come into the 6A Region II District 16 challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Lakes defeated Deer Park (Deer Park, TX), 47-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Ganders battle the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Lee will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 4-13 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, TX).
