Virginia High School Basketball - Deep Creek overwhelms Washington County

December 6, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23323

The Deep Creek Hornets basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Washington County Panthers to 32 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Hornets clash with the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 9. Deep Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 2-1 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA).

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Perquimans was ripped by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 64-6, in a non-league game.
