December 6, 2025: Jacksonville, TX 75766 In Saturday's non-league test, the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX) basketball team were winner over the visiting Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX), by a tally of 52-33.
The Fightin' Indians now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Nacogdoches for a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, December 9. Jacksonville will play a Dragons team coming off a 60-29 non-league loss to China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Ennis falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Kaufman won 56-20 in their recent non-league test against Madison (Dallas, TX)
