California High School Basketball - Golden Valley thwarts Fillmore

December 6, 2025: Santa Clarita, CA 91321

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) and the visiting Fillmore Flashes (Fillmore, CA), observed Golden Valley's basketball team knock off Fillmore by a score of 38-20.

The Grizzlies (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Coyotes come into the Foothill challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Castaic dropped by West Ranch (Valencia, CA), 60-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Flashes encounter the Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) in a Citrus Coast challenge, on Wednesday, December 10. Fillmore will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
