December 6, 2025: Stamps, AR 71860 The Lafayette County Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Fouke Panthers to 46 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Strong Bulldogs (Strong, AR) in a 1A Region 8 outing, on Tuesday, December 9. Lafayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 58-42 non-league win over Harmony Grove (Camden, AR).
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against De Queen (De Queen, AR). The Leopards go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, De Queen held off Wright City (Wright City, OK), 58-42, in a non-league outing.
