December 6, 2025: Freer, TX 78357 The Freer Buckaroos edged the visiting Grulla Gators basketball team by a tally of 47-44 in Saturday's non-league game.
The Buckaroos now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to La Villa for a 2A Region IV District 32 outing on Tuesday, December 9. Freer will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 34-30 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-4.
The Gators (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Zapata (Zapata, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 2-6 record.
