December 6, 2025: Lavaca, AR 72941 Gravette Lions (Gravette, AR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Lavaca Golden Arrows (Lavaca, AR), 68-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gravette advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Lions host Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR) to battle the Saints in a 4A Region 1 match on Tuesday, December 16. The Saints enter the match with a record of 3-4. Shiloh Christian won 32-23 in their recent non-league match against Pearce (Richardson, TX)
The Golden Arrows now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charleston for a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, December 9. Lavaca will face a Tigers squad coming off a 58-32 non-league win over Atkins (Atkins, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
