The Riverside Warriors toppled the host Herbert Hoover Huskies basketball team by a tally of 41-26 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nitro for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9. Riverside will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers go into the Cardinal bout with a 0-0 record.
