December 6, 2025: Louisville, KY 40243 In Saturday's non-league test, the Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY) basketball team were winner over the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY), by a tally of 34-25.
The Highlanders now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Highlands Latin will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-38 non-league loss to Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, June Buchanan falls to 0-3 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY) to encounter the Cougars in a District 53 test on Monday, December 8. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-2. Letcher County Central won 53-29 in their recent non-league test against Lee (Jonesville, VA)
