New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve victorious over Hondo Valley
December 6, 2025: Hondo, NM 88336 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Reserve Mountaineers basketball squad scored a nice 39-31 victory over the Hondo Valley Eagles.
With the victory, Reserve upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-2. Pine Hill lost 53-34 in their recent non-league match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM)
The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league match on Monday, December 8. Hondo Valley will face a Colts squad coming off a 54-18 non-league win over Loving (Loving, NM). The Colts record now stands at 1-0.
