Texas High School Basketball - Jasper toppled by Willis
December 6, 2025: Willis, TX 77378 Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) backers were thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), 45-26 in a non-league game.
The Wildkats now have a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, December 9. Willis will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 59-31 non-league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Jasper falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Tarkington (Cleveland, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 1-10. Tarkington lost 41-25 in their recent non-league game against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX)
