The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX) and the host Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX), observed Johnson's basketball team overwhelm Weslaco by a score of 62-37.

The Jaguars (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league battle with a 15-0 record. In their last battle, Wagner walloped United (Laredo, TX), 75-58, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Benito for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9. Weslaco will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-10.
