The L.C. Bird Skyhawks crushed the visiting Western Branch Bruins basketball team by a tally of 60-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Skyhawks now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Powhatan for a Dominion bout on Monday, December 8. L.C. Bird will play a Indians team coming off a 45-34 non-league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Western Branch falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. Andrew's Episcopal lost 56-26 in their recent non-league bout against Severn School (Severna Park, MD)
