In Saturday's non-league test, the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA), by a score of 34-24.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 9. Pleasant Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Honkers come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, CA).

The Mustangs now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 11.
