December 6, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70124 Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA), 57-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Carmel advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Cubs travel to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 13. The Tigers enter the outing with a record of 1-7.
The Greenies (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA). The Penguins enter the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Academy of Our Lady was trounced by Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA), 37-19, in a non-league game.
