The Panhandle Panthers got by the visiting Shallowater Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 42-38 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 9. Panhandle will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 48-30 non-league loss to Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX).

With the loss, Shallowater falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, December 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 8-5. Littlefield won 41-29 in their recent non-league test against Denver City (Denver City, TX)
