South Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg trounced by South Pointe

South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) backers went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team smash the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 76-49 in a non-league contest.

The Stallions (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Northwestern smashed Chester (Chester, SC), 36-32, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Sabres face the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 47-29 non-league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
