In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Westside Wolves basketball team scored a big 52-24 win over the Sterling Raiders.

The Wolves (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Houston, TX). The Texans come into the 6A Region III District 18 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Lamar was trounced by Wheatley (Houston, TX), 54-47, in a non-league match.

The Raiders now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a 5A Region III District 21 match on Monday, December 8.
