The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Trinity Christian Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC) and the host The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC), observed Trinity Christian's basketball team edge The Burlington School by a score of 37-35.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles enter the NCISAA Carolina Independent battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Fayetteville Academy tipped Berean Baptist Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 37-20, in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carolina Friends for a NCISAA Central Carolina battle on Thursday, December 11.
