December 6, 2025: Fishersville, VA 22939 The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets to 8 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cavaliers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blacksburg for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 10. Lord Botetourt will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 19-16 non-league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-1.
The Green Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Turner Ashby routed Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 38-20, in a non-league outing.
