December 6, 2025: Sparta, MI 49345 Sparta Spartans (Sparta, MI) backers exited the stadium happy Saturday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Fenton Tigers (Fenton, MI), 9-1 in a non-league game.
With the win, Sparta moves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Spartans host Dakota (Macomb, MI) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 3-1. Dakota lost 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against DeWitt (DeWitt, MI)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Hartland Eagles (Hartland, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Fenton will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
