Maine High School Ice Hockey - Messalonskee knocks off Thornton Academy
December 6, 2025: Oakland, ME 04963 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Messalonskee Eagles ice hockey team scored a close 7-4 victory over the Thornton Academy Trojans.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams go into the Class B North game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Cony by Lewiston (Lewiston, ME), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Trojans now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lewiston for a Class A game on Wednesday, December 10. Thornton Academy will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Cony (Augusta, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.
