Mississippi High School Soccer - Northwest Rankin toppled by Madison Central
December 6, 2025: Brandon, MS 39232 Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Madison Central moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Murrah (Jackson, MS) to clash with the Mustangs in a 7A Region 2 test on Tuesday, December 9. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-6. Murrah lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Germantown (Madison, MS)
The Cougars now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Oak Grove for a 7A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, December 9. Northwest Rankin will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.
