The Aubrey Chaparrals basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Community Braves to 38 in the Chaparrals non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Chaparrals now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sanger for a 4A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, December 21.

The Braves (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Brownsboro prevailed over Grace Community (Tyler, TX), 74-41, in a non-league contest.
