Oregon High School Basketball - Knappa tops Kennedy
December 7, 2021: Astoria, OR 97103 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) and the visiting Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR), saw Knappa's basketball squad knock off Kennedy by a count of 59-42.
With the victory, Knappa upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to play the Pirates in a 2A Northwest challenge on Monday, December 13. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Trojans play the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) in a 2A Tri-River challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 67-43 non-league win over Rainier (Rainier, OR).
