Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) and the host Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), saw McCollum's basketball squad hold off Seguin by a tally of 70-68.

With the victory, McCollum improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Uvalde (Uvalde, TX) to confront the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 10. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) come into the challenge with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Matadors confront the Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Seguin will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 64-31 non-league win over Comfort (Comfort, TX).
