The Smithsburg Leopards basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting North Hagerstown Hubs to 60 in the Leopards league triumph on Tuesday.

The Leopards now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Francis Scott Key for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Smithsburg will play a Eagles squad coming off a 55-28 league win over Catoctin (Thurmont, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

Next up, the Hubs play the Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) in a CMC bout, on Monday, December 20. North Hagerstown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
