December 7, 2021: Spurger, TX 77660 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Warren Warriors (Warren, TX) and the host Spurger Pirates (Spurger, TX), saw Warren's basketball squad knock off Spurger by a count of 43-29.
With the victory, Warren upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Anahuac (Anahuac, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Anahuac won 72-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX)
Next up, the Pirates play the Bob Hope Eagles (Port Arthur, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Spurger will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 62-18 non-league win over High Island (High Island, TX).
