December 7, 2021: Barrett, MN 56311 West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN), 69-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Central Area upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (Graceville, MN) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley lost 43-19 in their recent non-league bout against Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Verndale Pirates (Verndale, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Staples-Motley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 83-39 non-league loss to Nevis (Nevis, MN).
