Texas High School Basketball - Stamford crushes Burkburnett
December 7, 2021: Burkburnett, TX 76354 Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Burkburnett Bulldogs (Burkburnett, TX), 64-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Stamford upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hawley (Hawley, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 2A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Hawley lost 47-36 in their recent non-league bout against Eula (Clyde, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Caddo Mills Foxes (Caddo Mills, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Burkburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Foxes come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 52-44 non-league win over Canton (Canton, TX).
