Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) and the visiting Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), saw Crosby's basketball squad knock off Porter by a tally of 38-24.

With the victory, Crosby improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host New Caney (New Caney, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. New Caney won 36-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX)

Next up, the Spartans play the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, December 14. Porter will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record.
