The Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) basketball knocked off the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 45-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Monroe notched a victory over Central (Pageland, SC), 58-26, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 8. East Mecklenburg will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 53-19 non-league loss to Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-4.
